Frequently asked questions

Where does the salary data come from?

From real job ads with an explicitly stated salary range — currently 521,598 active ads worldwide. We compute the median of the range midpoint — no surveys, no estimation models.

What does the repost rate mean?

23.2 % of delisted ads reappear shortly after — the role wasn't filled. Reposts are the most honest signal for hard-to-fill profiles and fierce competition for the same candidates.

How are the competition signals created?

Our AI reads every ad and detects whether hiring is urgent, at scale or for growth. Staffing agencies and job boards are excluded so the signals describe the actual employer.

Methodology. Data as of 08/23/2026. 14-day rate: cohort of all ads first seen 21–14 days ago (726,962); 219,903 of them were delisted within 14 days. Repost rate: 176,554 reappeared ads ÷ 762,192 delistings in 30 days. Salaries: only ads with an explicitly stated range, median of the range midpoint, EUR/year, Germany. Hiring signals: AI analysis of the ad text; staffing agencies, job boards and ads without an identifiable company excluded (n = 202,694).
