Housekeeper/Nanny – Capitola, CA

A family in Capitola, CA 95010 is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper with infant care experience to provide long-term, biweekly household support. While housekeeping is the primary responsibility, the family is also hoping to build a relationship with someone who can provide occasional backup childcare in the future as their infant grows and transitions into daycare.

Schedule:

Biweekly, up to 8 hours per visit

The family is open to weekly support for one day per week if preferred by the right candidate.

Start Date: August 1st or later

Family Environment:

Smoke-free home

Approximately 1,100 sq. ft. home (2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms)

One friendly, medium-sized non-shedding dog

Responsibilities:

Deep cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the home

Laundry and household organization as needed

Meal preparation or light cooking preferred, but not required

Build rapport with the family's infant to provide occasional backup childcare when needed in the future

Provide a warm, dependable presence for the family over the long term

Requirements:

Prior housekeeping experience required

Experience caring for infants

Comfortable around dogs

Reliable and trustworthy

English required

Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required

Compensation:

$150–$180 per day, depending on experience
