Warehouse Engineer

Layout & Design Optimization •Design Warehouse Layouts: Optimize storage spaces and traffic flows to reduce material handling time. •Analyze Storage Capacity: Calculate and forecast space utilization to prevent operational bottlenecks. •Select Equipment & Racking: Specify and implement optimal racking systems and material handling equipment. Automation & Technology Integration •Manage SAP: Supervise and configure SAP to ensure data accuracy. •Perform Data Analytics: Analyze inventory turnover and order profiles to predict future operational needs. Process Improvement (Continuous Improvement) •Lead Lean Initiatives: Apply Lean or Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste in Pick-Pack-Ship processes. •Conduct Time Studies: Perform Time and Motion studies to improve labor productivity and ergonomics. •Standardize Workflows (SOPs): Create and update Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent operational execution. Maintenance & Cost Control •Plan Preventive Maintenance: Schedule regular maintenance for warehouse machinery, docks, and IT hardware. •Track Operational KPIs: Monitor key metrics including Order Accuracy, Space Utilization, and Dock-to-Stock time. •Drive Cost Reduction: Manage engineering budgets and execute projects to lower cost-per-order. Safety & Compliance •Conduct Risk Assessments: Evaluate safety hazards and enforce protocols for forklift operations and machinery. •Manage Hazardous Materials: Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards for chemical storage. •Enforce 5S Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment across all zones.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Interpersonal Skills: Good English proficiency, excellent communication, 5 years or more of warehousing, experience. Software Skills: Proficient in WMS, SAP, MS Office.
