Chief Accountant
Role Objective This position will monitor and audit cost accounting transactions to ensure timely and accurate project cost reporting, monitor payables/receivables cycles to ensure smooth cash flow, control general accounting activities, and prepare financial reports.
Accountabilities Legal and formal control of accounting documents and supervision of their circulation.
Responsibility for timeliness and maintaining accounting books.
Responsibility for the correct calculation and preparation of tax returns (VAT, CIT, etc.).
Preparing financial statements in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act.
Active shaping of accounting policy within the company.
Preparing reports and summaries for management needs.
Contact and cooperation with external institutions (US, ZUS, GUS, NBP).
Coordination of the process of preparing transfer pricing documentation.
Cooperation with external auditors and tax advisors.
Substantive and organizational supervision of the accounting department.
Job Related Competencies Educational Background
Bachelor/TS degree in Accounting & Finance.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting/finance position.
