Three R’s are recruiting a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover placement at a Medway school, running from February through to July. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident primary teacher who enjoys working with upper KS2 pupils and is committed to delivering engaging lessons that support progress, independence and a positive approach to learning.
Your tasks
The ideal Year 5 Teacher will
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Create a positive classroom environment with clear expectations
- Encourage independence, resilience and enthusiasm for learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' development
Requirements
Year 5 Teacher requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised in the UK
- Experience teaching within a primary school
- Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to the full-time maternity cover placement
