As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires proficiency with both hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
*Responsibilities*
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting.
- Replace or repair damaged parts such as doors, fenders, and bumpers.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure all repairs meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline repair processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
*Qualifications*
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.
