Catering Assistant

Duties to include

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food in line with company standards.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate tills and handle customer transactions where required.
• Replenish food displays, counters and service areas throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in dining areas, kitchens and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils and catering equipment using manual and mechanical cleaning methods.
• Follow all food hygiene, allergen and Health & Safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries correctly.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of replenishment requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond positively to customer enquiries.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Support the wider catering team with additional duties as required.
