Project Engineer $3.5K - $4.5K + Variable Bonus + Transport (Boon Lay MRT) - Offshore Fabrication Field

Key Duties

• Take fabrication projects from kick-off through to handover, overseeing planning, progress and delivery
• Produce construction drawings, work methodologies, procedures, engineering calculations and risk assessments
• Compile Material Take-Off (MTO) lists and work with procurement on vendor selection
• Allocate and schedule the manpower, materials and equipment needed to keep projects moving
• Build inspection plans together with QA/QC and arrange third-party inspections
• Monitor fabrication progress alongside the production team and keep stakeholders updated
• Resolve site queries and make sure day-to-day activities comply with HSE requirements

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, ideally Marine or Offshore related
• At least 2 years in Steel Fabrication (preferred)
• Confident with 2D AutoCAD (3D modelling an advantage), MS Office and MS Project
• Solid grasp of steel fabrication processes, fabrication standards and classification society rules
• Familiar with steel material properties — grades, thicknesses and EN standards
• Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, SAW and GTAW welding processes
• Comfortable with project management practices and engineering calculations
• Able to communicate and build rapport with people at every level
