Mylo is a fintech platform dedicated to helping millions of people and businesses thrive by providing accessible and responsible financial solutions. Whether you're purchasing a mobile phone, a new jacket, a flight ticket, a comfy couch, or even covering school tuition, Mylo enables you to buy now and pay later at thousands of points of sale across Egypt. Born out of B.TECH—Egypt's leading electronics and appliances retailer with over 27 years of experience in offering buy now, pay later solutions—Mylo brings a legacy of trust and innovation to the fintech space. All Mylo products are fully Sharia-compliant, ensuring ethical and inclusive financial practices.

As a Head of Growth, Cards you will own the Mylo card business end-to-end, a hybrid prepaid-plus-revolving-limit product where customers top up for everyday spend and separately access their credit limit facility usable at any merchant. This is a newly created, P&L-accountable role responsible for taking the product from launch through scaled growth, and for the commercial and credit economics of the shared limit across every channel it touches (card and checkout).

Responsibilities

Own the Cards product end-to-end — from positioning and go-to-market strategy through launch, growth, and ongoing P&L performance.

Define who the card is for, how it's positioned against competition alternatives, and how it's sequenced into market (rollout phasing, comms brief, launch readiness).

Own the credit facility design at the core of the product — including the shared/revolving limit with POS checkout, tenor selection, and the underlying credit economics — partnering closely with Risk and Finance as a peer on underwriting and funding decisions.

Partner with Fraud on risk controls for top-ups and credit facility transactions, and with Operations on issuance, servicing, and dispute resolution.

Strategize Partnerships as a key card pillar spanning both acquisition and loyalty — not merely one acquisition channel among others.

Strategize Key Accounts coordination to build card distribution and engagement partnerships that extend reach and deepen usage.

Own the Cards P&L, including quarterly and annual planning, budget management, and reporting on growth KPIs to leadership.

Design and execute acquisition strategies across digital, offline, partnerships, and CRM channels to drive card sign-ups and spend.

Own the customer funnel — awareness through application, approval, activation, and repeat usage — and continuously optimize conversion.

Analyze consumer behavior and spending patterns to shape personas and tailor strategy.

Monitor the competitive landscape (card products, pricing, rewards, features) across banks and fintechs and adjust strategy accordingly.

Partner with Product and Risk to shape card features, limits, and rewards that drive engagement.

Requirements

12+ years of experience, with work experience as Head of Growth, Head of Marketing, or a senior growth leadership role, with hands-on experience specifically in card products (credit cards, prepaid cards, or co-branded cards) at a fintech, digital bank, or comparable financial services company.

BSc or MSc in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a relevant field.

Demonstrated ability to sit across the table from Risk and Finance as a peer on underwriting, funding, and credit economics decisions.

Experience owning go-to-market strategy and product launches, not just running acquisition campaigns post-launch.

Track record of driving card issuance, activation, and usage growth.

Experience building or managing partnership pillars (not just partnerships-as-channel), ideally including Key Accounts.

Solid understanding of card economics — activation rates, usage rates, interchange, revolving/shared limit structures, and how growth levers tie into unit economics.

Leadership experience managing a multi-function team (product, growth, CRM/analytics) and absorbing or integrating existing functions.

Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working closely with Risk and Product on card-specific decisions.
