Job description MSALABS is an experienced global provider of geochemical laboratory services to the exploration and mining industries in Canada, the USA and around the world. We have a rapidly growing network of laboratories in key mining regions around the world to limit lead times and transit costs and we employ the latest hi-tech analysis equipment.
Your tasks
Responsibilities:
- Perform Geochem weighing in accordance with documented standard operation procedures.
- Oversee weighing team?s day-to-day safety, production and work performance.
- Oversee and maintain daily balance verification and production record.
- Provide training to new team members.
- Coordinate with digestion and specialty assay team members and staff from other departments to achieve the highest productivity.
- Communicate and report general laboratory issues to the Geochem Supervisor as appropriate.
- Perform daily weighing production calculation.
- Assist in monthly CRM inventory counting.
- Assist in ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 audit.
- Organize and schedule the cleanliness of weighing workspace.
- Perform other duties as required by Management.?
Requirements
Requirements:
- Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
- Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Diploma in Chemical Sciences / Technology or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years' experience in a wet chemistry preparation facility at a commercial lab is preferred, but not required.
- Must be fit and able to perform the inherent requirements of the job.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Wet Chemistry: 1 year (required)

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
