About the Role We’re looking for a Category Manager to join our Commercial Partner Growth team in London, working hybrid with two days per week in our Central London office.

This is a commercial growth and partnerships role at its heart. You’ll own a portfolio of experience categories and the partners within them, building strong relationships, identifying opportunities and using data and customer insight to drive commercial performance.

You’ll work with both established and emerging partners to grow sales and margin, negotiate commercial agreements and develop new products and propositions that make our offer stand out. You’ll also look beyond today’s performance to identify where the next growth opportunity could come from — whether that’s a new partner, proposition, format or price point.

For more than 20 years, Buyagift and Red Letter Days have helped millions of customers create unforgettable memories through experiences. As part of Moonpig Group, we’re combining data, technology and creativity to build an even more dynamic, customer-focused experiences proposition.

Reporting to the Head of Partner Growth, you’ll have plenty of scope to shape how your categories develop, work across the wider business and lead and support a direct report.

Key Responsibilities: Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of established and emerging partners.

Identify opportunities to grow sales, margin and partner performance using data, customer insight and market trends.

Lead commercial negotiations across pricing, commission and exclusivity agreements.

Work with partners to launch new products and develop standout propositions that differentiate our offer.

Lead regular business reviews, turning performance insight into clear joint growth plans.

Define and own the commercial strategy for your categories, with clear goals across sales, margin, range and partner growth.

Identify and test new products, formats and price points to unlock future category growth.

Analyse performance and take action to improve conversion, margin and customer satisfaction.

Balance quick trading opportunities with longer-term commercial and innovation opportunities.

Lead commercial planning, product launches and campaigns around key gifting moments, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas.

Partner with Marketing, Product and Trading teams to turn commercial opportunities and category plans into action.

Ensure products are presented and merchandised effectively to support customer experience and conversion.

Lead and support your direct report to deliver strong results and develop their capability.

Champion commercial thinking, creativity and pace across the Partner Growth team.

Deputise for the Head of Partner Growth when required and represent the team across the wider business.

About You: We’re open to different commercial backgrounds. You might currently work in commercial partnerships, marketplace or account management, partner growth or category management . What matters most is experience owning commercial relationships and finding ways to grow them.

Proven experience managing and growing a portfolio of partners, accounts or categories.

Strong commercial judgement, with experience turning opportunities into clear growth plans.

Experience building strategic partner relationships that go beyond day-to-day account management.

Strong negotiation skills and confidence working with commercial terms.

Comfortable using data, customer insight and performance metrics to make decisions and identify opportunities.

Ability to balance hands-on commercial decisions with longer-term strategic thinking.

Experience collaborating across different teams to deliver commercial outcomes.

Comfortable working at pace in an evolving environment where testing new ideas is encouraged.
