Test Automation Engineer

Recruitment process: HR interview – 20 min Technical interview – 30 min Meeting with the client – 1 h

Daily tasks

• analyzing project, business, and technical documentation,
• analyzing production issues, a key area of this role, and actively supporting the development team in diagnosing and resolving them,
• preparing and executing test scenarios and test cases based on requirements (functional, system, integration, exploratory, and automated tests),
• testing frontend and backend layers, including REST APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger,
• creating and maintaining automated tests using Ranorex, Cypress, and Selenium,
• close cooperation with the development team within sprint-based work,
• verifying the quality of delivered IT solutions,
• supporting the development team in analyzing and resolving production issues,
• identifying risks related to the testing process and proposing effective mitigation strategies,
• preparing, updating, and maintaining test documentation,
• creating and managing test data,
• reporting test progress and results.

Requirements

you have at least 6 years of experience in the field of test automation (mandatory requirement), you know Java programming and SQL , as well as database-related concepts, you have experience working in Agile methodologies , particularly Scrum , you have worked on test automation, international projects, you are familiar with and comfortable using tools and technologies such as JIRA and Confluence , you have practical knowledge of testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium , Ranorex, IntelliJ , Postman, and Swagger. Additional advantages include: holding an I STQB Foundation Level certificate , knowledge of Guidewire systems and solutions. knowledge of processes and systems related to transfer agent operations.
