Accountabilities: Research, write, and publish engaging, accurate, and well-structured news and feature articles for a global audience.

Monitor breaking news, identify trending topics, and proactively pitch fresh story ideas across multiple subject areas.

Translate complex topics into clear, accessible, and engaging content while maintaining editorial integrity.

Conduct thorough research and fact-checking using reliable sources to ensure accuracy and credibility.

Meet daily publishing deadlines in a fast-moving newsroom without compromising quality.

Collaborate closely with editors and fellow writers to refine content and uphold editorial standards.

Contribute to a dynamic content strategy by producing stories that maximize reader engagement and audience growth.

Requirements

3–4 years of professional experience writing news or feature content for digital publications.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.

Excellent news judgment and the ability to identify timely, high-interest stories.

Strong research and fact-checking capabilities with a commitment to editorial accuracy.

Familiarity with global trends, U.S. news cycles, and topics that resonate with Western audiences.

Ability to write quickly, clearly, and accurately in a deadline-driven environment.

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

Passion for digital journalism, current affairs, science, space, and emerging trends.
