Accountabilities: The Student Fellow will serve as a campus ambassador, helping introduce legal AI solutions to law students while building engagement and awareness within their academic community. This role requires initiative, communication skills, and the ability to independently organize meaningful activities.

Represent the program as an on-campus ambassador by organizing lunch sessions, demonstrations, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences.

Showcase practical applications of AI in legal education through coursework examples, exam preparation, journal activities, clinics, and other student experiences.

Build relationships with faculty members, student organizations, journals, and career services teams to encourage adoption and engagement.

Create and lead a customized campus activation initiative aligned with broader fellowship goals.

Gather and document student use cases and feedback to help improve understanding of how AI supports legal workflows.

Engage with a national network of law students interested in technology, innovation, and the future of legal services.

Participate in mentorship opportunities with professionals across areas such as legal, marketing, product, and other business functions.

Promote awareness and responsible exploration of AI tools within the law school community.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an engaged law student with leadership experience, strong communication abilities, and genuine curiosity about how artificial intelligence is transforming legal work. They should be comfortable representing a technology-focused initiative and managing responsibilities independently.

Current JD or LLM candidate (1L, 2L, 3L, or LLM) at an eligible U.S. law school participating in the relevant legal AI program.

Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, journals, moot court, clinics, or similar activities.

Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage peers and faculty members.

Genuine interest in the intersection of artificial intelligence and the legal profession.

Ability to independently manage approximately 5 hours per week during the 2026–2027 academic year.

Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable taking ownership with limited day-to-day supervision.

Passion for innovation, collaboration, and helping others understand emerging technologies.
