Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer

Accountabilities: As a Full-Stack Web App Developer, you will design, develop, and improve browser-based applications while managing the full development lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating reliable solutions with strong architecture, clean code, and seamless user experiences across frontend, backend, and database layers.

Build interactive web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, or similar technologies.

Develop backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and/or Node.js frameworks such as Express or NestJS.

Design and implement database structures, schemas, and persistence solutions using SQL or NoSQL technologies.

Create application features including authentication, sessions, user permissions, validation workflows, and data management systems.

Integrate third-party APIs, AI/LLM services, and external platforms into web applications.

Develop standalone Python tools and scripts for data processing, API integrations, and backend utilities when required.

Manage frontend state, user interactions, error handling, and performance optimization.

Review, debug, test, and refactor applications to improve security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Build clear and maintainable code while troubleshooting issues across the entire technology stack.

Independently architect, implement, and deliver complete features from concept to deployment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack developer with strong knowledge of modern web technologies and the ability to build complete applications independently. You should be comfortable working across frontend and backend systems, designing reliable architectures, and delivering polished digital products.

3+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development or building interactive web applications.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is a plus.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript with experience using modern frontend frameworks.

Solid backend development experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) and/or Node.js.

Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, implementing authentication flows, validation, and error handling.

Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite, including schema design.

Familiarity with deployment platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, Render, Railway, or similar services.

Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs into applications is a strong advantage.

Comfortable using Git, version control workflows, and basic software testing practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a focus on building robust, production-ready solutions.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver complete features remotely.

Portfolio of shipped web applications is required.

English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or above.
