Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications and software solutions.

Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using appropriate technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.

Build, maintain, and optimise back-end systems, server-side applications, and business logic.

Design, manage, and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient performance.

Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs to support communication between applications and third-party services.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and system performance problems.

Implement appropriate security measures to protect applications, databases, and user information.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate business requirements into functional software solutions.

Conduct software testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure application quality and reliability.

Optimise application performance, scalability, and responsiveness across different devices and platforms.

Manage application deployment, updates, and maintenance across development, testing, and production environments.

Use version control systems such as Git to manage source code and support team collaboration.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, databases, and development processes.

Stay updated on emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices to improve software delivery.

Provide technical support and implement improvements based on user feedback and business needs.

Requirements:

HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar software development role.

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Proficiency in back-end programming languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or .NET.

Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and web services.

Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

Understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and application architecture.

Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorisation, and data protection practices.

Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment processes, and CI/CD tools is an advantage.
