Operations Officer – Season 2027
About the company
Cretan Holidays S.A., one of Greece’s leading Destination Management Companies (DMCs), is looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Officer to join our team in Corfu for the season 2027.
Your tasks
The Operations Officer will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of transfer, excursion and airport services, while maintaining strong relationships with guests, representatives and local suppliers.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor transfer and excursion services, ensuring their smooth and timely operation.
- Support Hotel Representatives with excursion sales, rent cars and assist in identifying new excursion opportunities.
- Coordinate daily operations with suppliers, hotels, transport providers and local partners.
- Build and maintain strong, professional and long-term relationships with suppliers.
- Prepare and complete weekly liquidations with Hotel Representatives.
- Monitor the quality and efficiency of operational services and take prompt action when required.
- Handle operational issues and provide effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate operational records and ensure effective communication between all involved parties.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational procedures and guest experience.
Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in tourism, DMC, travel, hotel or operations.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- German and/or French will be considered an additional asset.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine interest in guest experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach.
- Valid driving license.
- Residence in Corfu or willingness to relocate
