Role Overview: Faced with incredible demand for our network of consultants and differentiated consulting model that is fit for purpose in the era of AI, we are expanding our Client-facing organization. As a Client Partner, you own and drive the growth of your  portfolio of named accounts within our Private Equity segment, supported by the broader go-to-market organization. You will work to expand the presence of Catalant consulting engagements across PE firms and their portfolio companies, managing the entire sales cycle from account and business development,  lead generation, to sales conversion, to delivery oversight, through project extensions. With your deep understanding of Catalant’s offerings and your expertise in consulting client needs identification, and focus on value creation, you will serve as a trusted advisor to your clients, identifying and promoting tailored solutions that address their most pressing business challenges.  Your role will be pivotal in fostering long-term client relationships, delivering tangible client value, and ensuring seamless client interactions with Catalant.

What you'll do Leverage Marketing’s efforts to introduce clients to Catalant and build warm relationships in order to discover client needs that will grow into consulting engagements

Position yourself as a strategic advisor and problem-solving partner to senior executives at the client including PE Managing Directors and Operating Partners, as well as C-level executives and VPs at PE portfolio companies

Design a comprehensive client engagement plan that includes high-value stakeholders, communication strategies, and activities to deepen the client relationship over time

Engage with clients to position Catalant as a key enabler in successfully executing their strategic initiatives who is focused on nimble value creation with a bias to action

Develop consulting solutions based on Catalant’s Practice Communities expertise that align with the client's strategic goals and areas of highest functional demand. Present these solutions in partnership with consultants in a way that highlights Catalant’s unique value proposition from Big Consulting

Maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and shepherd them through all stages of the sales cycle (from lead to close to extension)

Work closely with Associates to match consulting resources and services to project needs. For strategic projects, directly engage with Catalant consultants and teams to vet, prepare, and advise

Ensure consultants and teams are well-prepared for scoping and fit calls and proposal development by providing them with a clear set of client needs, timeline, value to be delivered, expected outcome and impact, dependencies and preferences

Manage externally and internally facing summaries of Catalant work at assigned accounts to help communicate the value we are enabling as well as monitor that the work is going well

Build productive partnerships with internal stakeholders across Catalant

Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc updates on your territory and account plan, pipeline, projects, client relationships, meetings (counts and context), BD efforts, and forecasts for your book of business.

What you'll bring Bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent is a plus

8+ years of total work experience with exposure to business development and/or account management functions in a professional services environment or consultative sales model

Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients

Experience at a management consulting firm and/or exposure to Private Equity

Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Passion for helping business professionals solve their complex business problems at pace, with a clear focus on value creation

Thrive in a highly-entrepreneurial, dynamic, and demanding environment

A bias for action and a sense of urgency - whether trying to build new relationships or responding to client requests for support
