Job Summary
You will develop and maintain customer relationships, negotiate voyage charters for MR to LR2 tankers, and adapt to market changes to ensure timely delivery and superior service in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop new customer accounts and maintain a strong, active customer base to drive business growth
- Negotiate voyage charters and charter parties on spot and COA basis for clean and dirty petroleum tankers, including MR to LR2 vessels
- Research and analyze market trends to adapt strategies effectively in volatile conditions
- Ensure high performance and on-time delivery of chartering services to meet client expectations
- Collaborate effectively with team members using positive interpersonal skills to support team objectives
- Communicate ideas clearly and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Tanker Broker with a portfolio of business to bring into the role
- Self-driven mentality with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to pursue business opportunities
- Meticulous attention to detail in managing chartering processes and documentation
- Strong negotiation skills demonstrated through successful charter agreements
- Fluent English speaking skills to facilitate clear communication
- Demonstrated strong drive to achieve positive business results
