Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Sustainability, Natural Resource Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master's Degree in ESG, Sustainability, Environmental Management, Development Studies, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
Professional Qualifications
Relevant certifications in ESG, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or Social Performance. Strong knowledge of IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, and international ESG frameworks.
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in Environmental & Social Management, ESG, Sustainability, EHS, or related functions. Experience in agribusiness, food processing, manufacturing, export supply chains, or impact finance-funded projects is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing ESMS frameworks and stakeholder engagement programs.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS). Develop and review E&S policies, procedures, and management plans. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, certifications, and IFC Performance Standards. Oversee E&S risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting. Maintain environmental and social risk registers across operations and supply chains. Prepare ESG performance reports for management and stakeholders. Coordinate E&S training and capacity-building programs across the organization
