Energy/Turbine Diagnostics We at WeQuel are now looking for a Technical Analyst in Finspång, where you will become a key part of our client's Remote Diagnostic Center with a focus on developing and deploying analytics to detect failure modes in Gas & Steam Turbines. You will play a vital role in preventing forced outages and ensuring dependable turbine operation by analyzing sensor data and continuously improving diagnostic capabilities. As a consultant with us, you get the opportunity to work with one of our clients, a leading company within the energy and turbine manufacturing industry, where you contribute to optimizing diagnostic processes, implementing advanced analytics, and creating sustainable, reliable solutions for turbine operations. Your responsibilities: Continuous improvement of current analytics and development of new solutions to detect additional failure modes

Collaboration with Domain Experts (Vibration, Performance, Combustion & Controls) to assess fleet issues

Development of analytics using internal tools and programming languages such as Python or block programming

Support to Diagnostic Engineers through advanced analytics

Maintenance and optimization of existing analytics to ensure continued effectiveness

You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your analytics development forward while collaborating closely with Domain Experts and Diagnostic Engineers across the organization. Requirements: 1-2 years of relevant experience is ideal

Engineering degree in mechanics, electronics, control systems, data science, or equivalent experience

Fluent English, both spoken and written; Swedish is preferred

Experience working with large datasets and time series data, including analysis tools and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)

Technical experience with Gas & Steam turbines; familiarity with the MGT fleet (SGT600-SGT800) is a significant advantage

Experience with Python and block programming; knowledge of machine learning is a plus

Strong analytical skills with the capacity to master complex systems
