Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing quotations, cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Assist with quantity take-off and measurement of construction / M&E works.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns.
- Assist with progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and maintain proper cost records.
- Assist in checking subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare comparison sheets for materials and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist with procurement and material cost tracking.
- Attend site meetings and site inspections when required.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain proper documentation for contracts, claims and variations.
- Perform other QS / commercial duties assigned by the Senior QS or Management.
Job Requirements:
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of construction and M&E works is an advantage.
- Able to read construction drawings.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Site experience or internship experience is an advantage.
