heavy-duty equipment operator

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Experience: No experience (will train).
