Foreign Purchasing Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Foreign Procurement & Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage our international purchasing cycle, coordinate shipping and customs clearance, and ensure that all imported goods reach our warehouses efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with local regulations.

Execute international purchase orders in alignment with company procurement policies.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with global suppliers to secure the best prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.

Oversee international shipping operations and coordinate with freight forwarders and customs clearance agents.

Prepare, review, and verify all import-related documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Letters of Credit - LC, etc.).

Monitor customs clearance processes, ensure compliance with local regulations, and keep legal import documentation up to date.

Coordinate with internal production and warehousing teams to ensure timely receipt of shipments.

Track and analyze freight, customs, and insurance costs to optimize logistics expenses.

Resolve any issues related to shipping delays, quality discrepancies, or transit damages.

Generate regular reports on foreign procurement activities and logistics performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.

3 to 5 years of proven experience in foreign procurement and import operations.

Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and local import regulations.

Excellent understanding of Incoterms and international shipping methods (Air, Ocean, Land).

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel .
