Radiologist

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound examinations according to physician requests.

Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.

Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it functions properly and reporting any faults or maintenance needs.

Produce high-quality diagnostic images by following established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.

Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures and results in line with organizational policies.

Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

Adhere to infection prevention, radiation protection, and health and safety regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics.

Requirements:

Minimum of a B.Sc in Radiography and a current practicing license. 1 - 2 years of experience in General Radiography, MRI, CT, and ultrasound will be an added advantage. Assist the medical team in patients’ diagnosis and treatment Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patients’ encounters.
