Engineering Assistant $2500 - $3000 815am - 530pm (Mon to Fri) Changi Job Responsibilities Perform assembly of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-mechanical modules according to engineering drawings, BOMs, SOPs and work instructions. Carry out fastening, alignment, cable routing, adhesive application and torque tightening using appropriate tools and equipment. Perform functional testing and accurately record test results using Excel, SharePoint or SAP. Support troubleshooting, rework and retesting of assembly or test issues with Production Engineers. Conduct in-process quality checks and raise defect/non-conformance reports when required. Follow EHS, LOTO, ESD and 5S requirements and maintain proper workplace safety and housekeeping. Verify components against BOM and ensure correct material handling before assembly. Meet production targets and support continuous improvement activities such as Lean, 5S and Kaizen. Requirements NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related disciplines. At least 1 year of experience in equipment assembly and/or testing is preferred Hands-on experience with hand tools, jigs, fixtures, torque tools and measuring instruments.
