The Event Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for driving sales for private events and group bookings, including corporate functions, social gatherings, and special activations at TRIFECTA.
Day-to-day tasks include responding to event inquiries, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting site visits, and managing the full event lifecycle from initial lead through execution and follow-up. The Event Sales Manager collaborates closely with operations and marketing teams to design event packages, coordinate logistics, and ensure a seamless guest experience. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, tracking sales performance, and identifying new business opportunities to grow event revenue.
Responsibilities
B2B sales
- Build and own the outbound pipeline: corporates (team-building, D&D), MICE agencies, schools, brand activations, buyouts, bulk purchases.
- Run the full cycle: prospecting, proposals, site visits, negotiation, close.
- Maintain CRM discipline: pipeline stages, forecasting, conversion reporting to the Head of Lifestyle monthly.
- Use the venue as the closer — site visits and taster sessions for qualified prospects.
B2C sales
- Own consumer events: birthdays, celebrations, group socials, private bookings — packaged, priced (with Head of Lifestyle approval) and bookable through the platform with the Growth & CRM Lead.
- Convert inbound B2C enquiries within 24 hours; own the enquiry-to-booking conversion rate.
Delivery & coordination
- Handle events with complete run sheets; coordinate delivery with BU programming & community ICs and GX crews.
- Build dedicated event staffing plans with the Senior DM — never BAU manpower on event days.
- Own client satisfaction and post-event follow-up; convert one-off clients into repeat and annual bookings.
Rentals & partnerships
- Grow recurring venue rental and partnership incomes, including Pickle & Bones from S$3k to S$10k/month; source new rental partners for underused space and hours.
- Support the Head of Lifestyle on brand partnerships and sponsorships with commercial coordination.
- Evaluate and execute commercial viability of lifestyle programmes
Qualifications
- Strong event planning and event management skills, with experience organizing private events and group functions.
- Proven sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals in an events, hospitality, or lifestyle environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, manage client expectations, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, with effective time management, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Experience in venue-based events, sports or lifestyle brands, or hospitality is an advantage.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
- Proficiency with basic CRM or sales tracking tools and MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality, Events Management, or a related field is preferred.
