Backend Engineering Lead (Go / Node.js)

We are looking for a Backend Engineering Lead to join our team.

Lead and mentor backend engineers, providing technical guidance and support

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services

Take ownership of backend architecture and contribute to key technical decisions

Establish and maintain engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code

Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and other teams

Identify technical risks and propose effective solutions. Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and security

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and monitoring

Help define technical roadmaps and break complex requirements into actionable tasks

Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and technical issues

5+ years of professional backend software development experience

Strong commercial experience with Go or Node.js

Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or microservices

Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

Experience with cloud platforms and/or containerization technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance, and system architecture

Experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices

Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns

Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
