Formwork Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervise formwork activities including construction, erection, alteration, dismantling, and inspection of formwork structures at work sites to ensure safety and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction, erection, alteration, and dismantling of formwork structures to ensure safe and efficient operations at work sites
• Inspect formwork and falsework structures before, during, and after concreting to verify structural integrity and compliance
• Apply knowledge of formwork and falsework fundamentals to oversee construction processes and resolve technical issues
• Interpret working drawings accurately to guide formwork activities and ensure alignment with project specifications
• Assess construction strength of materials and shoring to maintain safety and structural standards
• Ensure adherence to Codes of Practice related to construction, erection, alteration, and dismantling of formwork structures at work sites

Required competencies and certifications

• Completion of Formwork Construction Course or Formwork Safety Course
