Your tasks

The role will involve reviewing the current setup, advising on the solution design for Phase 2 and ensuring the system is built in a way that is scalable, fit for purpose and easy to maintain.

You will also review the implementation partner's proposed solutions, making sure NetSuite's standard capabilities are used wherever possible and unnecessary customisation is avoided.

  • Design inventory and supply chain processes covering contract manufacturer (CM) and 3PL consignment stock, drop-shipping, inventory allocation, landed costs and multiple delivery schedules.
  • Establish standards for Item Master and BOM management, including item classification, revision controls and cross-referencing between engineering and internal part numbers.
  • Define integration design and data ownership between NetSuite and engineering or product data management systems.
  • Review and challenge technical designs proposed by the implementation partner, ensuring solutions are scalable, upgrade-safe and make the best use of native NetSuite functionality.
  • Prepare solution design documents, technical specifications and recommendations for system improvements and data cleansing.
  • Define clear acceptance criteria for technical deliverables and support design governance, risk management and change control.
  • Develop end-to-end UAT scenarios covering inventory, manufacturing, integrations and financial process integrity, and support cutover readiness.
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer and handover documentation to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of ERP consulting experience, including solid hands-on experience in NetSuite solution architecture and implementation.
  • Experience supporting multiple NetSuite implementations, ideally in manufacturing, hardware or other complex operational environments.
  • Good understanding of NetSuite's technical capabilities, system integrations and solution design principles.
  • Experience working with implementation partners and reviewing technical solutions, with a focus on scalability, maintainability and minimising unnecessary customisation.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and financial controls, particularly inventory management and costing.
  • Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge recommendations and engage stakeholders at different levels.
