Finance Director
Reed Finance is working on behalf of a key client, a well-established and growing organisation seeking an experienced Finance Director to join their senior leadership team.

The Role
Reporting into the executive leadership team, key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the overall finance function and providing strategic financial leadership across the organisation.
- Developing and implementing financial plans that support business objectives and sustainable growth.
- Producing accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning models.
- Delivering meaningful management information and performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensuring strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
- Managing cash flow, treasury, and working capital to maintain financial stability.
- Overseeing statutory accounts, audit processes, and tax compliance requirements.
- Providing commercial support around business cases, investments, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives.
- Identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team.
- Driving continuous improvement across financial systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Building strong relationships with board members, senior leaders, and external partners.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Proven experience operating at Finance Director, Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or a similar senior leadership level.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including statutory reporting and audit management.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic decision-making.
- A track record of leading and developing finance teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience delivering process improvements, finance transformation projects, or systems enhancements.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
