Reed is recruiting for an experienced Catering Services/Barista Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operation of several busy small coffee bar outlets.
You'll lead a small team, ensure excellent customer service, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, manage stock and cash handling processes, and drive sales through effective product presentation and promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support catering teams across multiple outlets
- Ensure high standards of customer service and food quality
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, and team performance
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and cash handling
- Maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
- Support service improvements and new product initiatives
About You
- Previous supervisory or management experience within catering, hospitality, cafés, or food retail
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
- Strong people management and organisational skills
- Experience with stock control, budgets, and rotas
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
Working Hours
- 35 hours per week
- 5 days from 7, including rotating weekends
- Shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm usually between 7am – 5.30pm
- Flexibility required to support business needs
This role is initially a temporary assignment until December 2026 , with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
