Commercial & Cost Management Monitor and control project costs against the approved budget.

Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost breakdowns for civil works.

Track project commitments, actual costs, forecasts, and potential cost overruns.

Prepare monthly commercial and cost reports.

Monitor project cash flow and provide accurate commercial forecasts.

Identify commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.

Contracts Administration Review and interpret project contracts, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contractual conditions.

Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, obligations, and notice periods.

Maintain proper records of contractual correspondence and commercial documentation.

Assist in administering contracts in accordance with FIDIC and project-specific contractual requirements.

Coordinate with the project team regarding contractual and commercial matters.

Variations & Claims Identify, evaluate, and prepare Variation Orders and additional works.

Prepare and submit variation proposals with supporting quantities, rates, and documentation.

Review and assess claims submitted by subcontractors.

Prepare and support contractual claims related to additional costs, delays, disruption, and changes in scope.

Maintain proper documentation and records to support commercial entitlements.

Participate in negotiations with the Client, Consultant, and Subcontractors.

Interim Payments Prepare and submit monthly interim payment applications to the Client/Consultant.

Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of completed works.

Follow up on payment certification and outstanding commercial matters.

Coordinate with Site and Planning teams to ensure payment applications are supported by accurate project progress information.

Subcontractor Management Review subcontract agreements, BOQs, and commercial conditions.

Review and evaluate subcontractors’ payment applications.

Verify quantities and completed works before payment certification.

Evaluate subcontractor variations, claims, and additional works.

Monitor subcontractor commercial performance.

Prepare and negotiate Subcontractor Final Accounts .

Final Accounts Prepare and finalize project final accounts.

Reconcile contract values, variations, claims, payments, and outstanding commercial items.

Ensure all commercial entitlements are properly captured before project close-out.

Coordinate with Finance and Project teams to ensure commercial closure of projects.

Coordination & Reporting Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and QS/Commercial teams .

Provide commercial input during project meetings and management reviews.

Prepare regular commercial updates and highlight key risks and opportunities.

Support management in commercial decision-making and negotiations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

5–7 years of relevant experience in Commercial, Contracts, Quantity Surveying, or Cost Control.

Proven experience within the Construction / Contracting industry .

Previous experience with a Main Contractor is required.
