HR Administrator

About the Role: We are a fast-growing company in the building materials industry expanding our footprint in Indonesia. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Director to build, lead, and manage our local HR operations. You will act as a strategic partner to the management team and serve as the crucial bridge between our Chinese headquarters and the Indonesian branch.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Building & Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Indonesian branch, building a high-performing local team from the ground up.

HR Strategy & Operations: Develop and implement HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and organizational structures aligned with company goals.

Compliance: Ensure all HR practices, payroll, and benefits strictly comply with Indonesian labor laws (Omnibus Law / UU Ketenagakerjaan), BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and BPJS Kesehatan.

Employee Relations: Foster a positive, cross-cultural work environment, handling employee relations and bridging cultural gaps between Chinese management and local staff.

Performance & C&B: Design and manage competitive Compensation & Benefits structures and performance appraisal systems.

Requirements:

Language: Trilingual proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Indonesia (both spoken and written) is mandatory for smooth communication with HQ and the local team.

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or directorial role in Indonesia.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indonesian labor laws, taxation (PPh 21), and local employment regulations.

Skills: Strong cross-cultural communication skills, high adaptability, and a hands-on "builder" mindset.

Bonus: Prior experience working in a Chinese multinational enterprise (MNE) or the building materials/trading industry is a strong plus.

Role: You will be responsible for building the local team from scratch, managing HR operations, and acting as the bridge between HQ in China and the local Indonesian team.
