System Programmer

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an IT Programmer to join our IT team and support the development, maintenance, and improvement of our internal business applications and systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on programmer who understands business processes, can troubleshoot issues independently, and is comfortable working closely with users across departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and improve internal applications and business systems.
- Build solutions supporting Production, Sales, Finance, Inventory, Purchasing, HR, and other business functions.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and system issues.
- Maintain databases, integrations, reports, and system documentation.
- Support ERP and other business applications.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, security, and performance.
- Provide technical support and assist users when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Programmer, Software Developer, or Application Developer.
- Strong programming and database fundamentals.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language/framework such as C#, .NET, PHP, Java, Python, or similar.
- Experience developing web-based or business applications.
- Familiarity with APIs, system integration, and database management.
- Experience with ERP / manufacturing systems is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of business processes and ability to communicate with non-technical users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
