Resident Technical Officer (M&E)
Job Summary
The Resident Engineer / Resident Technical Officer will represent clients on construction sites, ensuring projects comply with contracts, regulations, and approved specifications while monitoring quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients on construction sites to oversee project execution and compliance
- Read and interpret construction drawings and project details to guide site activities
- Verify that construction projects adhere to contractual agreements and regulatory requirements
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct tests on materials to assess and confirm their quality and suitability
- Prepare detailed progress reports to update clients on project status and issues
- Ensure all construction work follows approved drawings and technical specifications
- Enforce safety precautions and requirements to maintain a safe working environment on site
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working on PSA projects or similar large-scale construction projects
- Availability to start immediately
