Job Objective

As an EIPIC teacher, your ability to make a positive impact in the lives of children with special needs will be second to none. You will be playing a leading role in helping your young charges enhance and maximize their developmental growth potential while minimizing the onset of secondary disabilities.

Job Description

Lead a class and accommodate the diverse needs of young children.

Modify instruction and make adaptations

Be familiar with positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies

Plan and write children’s IEP and term progress reports.

Implement special educational strategies and techniques during lesson.

Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students.

Maintain accurate and complete daily student record.

Provide different variety of instructional practices

Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Special Education (Special needs Early Intervention)

Minimum two years of teaching experience in the Special Education field

High tolerance level towards children is an advantage

Able to work well independently as well as within a team
