About the company

The Opportunity OBM Consultancy is exclusively partnering with a distinctive British contemporary lifestyle brand to recruit an experienced Store Manager for its Oxford boutique.

Your tasks

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, commercially driven retail leader to take ownership of a well-established store, leading a team of approximately 10–12 people and driving its continued growth.

• Lead the day-to-day operations and overall commercial performance of the store.
• Drive sales, conversion, KPIs and profitability through effective floor leadership.
• Inspire, coach and develop a team of approximately 10–12 employees.
• Deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience.
• Oversee stock management, payroll, budgets and operational efficiency.
• Maintain excellent visual merchandising and brand presentation standards.
• Recruit, train and develop talent, building a positive and high-performing team culture.
• Work closely with the UK Retail Manager and head-office teams to identify opportunities for growth.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

We are looking for a hands-on manager who combines strong commercial awareness with a genuine passion for customer experience, team development and exceptional store standards.

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or an experienced Assistant Store Manager ready for the next step.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and KPI results.
• Confident in coaching, motivating and developing retail teams.
• Passionate about premium fashion, lifestyle brands and customer experience.
• Hands-on, organised and comfortable balancing operational and commercial priorities.
• A positive, approachable leader with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine appreciation for quality and brand storytelling.
