Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position, your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted and reliable point of contact.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal creative teams.
- Taking ownership of projects from initial brief through to delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
- Developing a strong understanding of clients, their brands, target audiences, and commercial objectives.
- Supporting the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across a range of channels.
- Preparing and delivering clear and effective client communications, presentations, proposals, and project updates.
- Taking client briefs and translating them into clear requirements for creative and production teams.
- Working closely with designers and other creative specialists to develop concepts and manage projects through to completion.
- Managing amends and approvals, ensuring feedback is communicated accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinating with external suppliers and production partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of events, including coordinating suppliers, materials, and on-site activity where required.
- Managing project budgets, purchase orders, production costs, and timelines.
- Identifying opportunities to improve client relationships, grow accounts, and introduce additional services.
- Proactively identifying potential issues and finding practical solutions before they impact delivery.
- Keeping clients regularly updated and ensuring a consistently high level of customer service.
- Supporting the wider account management team and contributing ideas to improve the way projects and client relationships are managed.
What You Will Need to Apply:
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have previous experience in account management, client services, marketing, communications, or a similar agency environment. Experience within a creative, marketing, advertising, or FMCG-focused agency would be particularly advantageous. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs. Commercial awareness is important, together with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, priorities, and multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, as you will be responsible for coordinating projects across clients, creative teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders. You should be comfortable managing client expectations, handling feedback, and finding solutions when challenges arise. A creative mindset and genuine interest in marketing, brands, consumer behaviour, and communications will be highly valued. You do not necessarily need to be a creative specialist, but you should be confident working alongside creative teams and able to understand how ideas translate into effective campaigns. You will also need to be proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership. The successful candidate will be someone who is naturally curious, enjoys learning, and is always looking for ways to improve both client relationships and the work delivered. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is expected, with experience using project management, CRM, or agency management platforms being advantageous.
