As Project Coordinator, you’ll be supporting the delivery of a major FPSO asset repair and life extension programme involving significant upgrades to marine and topside equipment, together with modifications required for future field deployment. Liaising with onshore, off-shore, and shipyard stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Lead in the planning, development, and execution of project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Assist with budget preparation, cost control, forecasting, and resource planning to support efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project resource allocation and man-hour expenditure to optimise productivity and operational performance.
  • Manage third-party vendors and contractors, including contract administration and perfor-mance monitoring.
  • Coordinate vendor activities across multiple shipyard locations, ensuring project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of technical work packs, project scopes, and execution plans.
  • Liaise closely with offshore and onshore Operations teams to identify, assess, prioritise, and deliver project work scopes.
  • Act as the primary interface between offshore operations, onshore management, and ship-yard personnel to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
  • Manage the Management of Change (MoC) process, ensuring technical modifications, legislative requirements, and operational improvements are implemented safely and effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to Project Management, Operations leadership, and client representatives, highlighting project status, risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and quality reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Maintenance teams to develop, update, and close maintenance activities within the Maximo Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Monitor and report performance against company and client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities to ensure successful completion of Repair & Life Extension (R&LE) work scopes.
  • Coordinate and support ATEX inspection programmes, including the implementation of digital inspection recording processes in collaboration with IT and Cyber Security teams.
  • Ensure asset registers, maintenance systems, engineering records, and technical documentation are accurately updated to reflect project modifications prior to handover to Operations.
  • Provide offshore operational support for new field developments and manage the completion of outstanding project and carry-over activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Criteria for the role:

  • Degree qualified in Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced user and administrator-level knowledge of the Maximo CMMS platform.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ATEX regulations, inspection requirements, and implemen-tation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Classification Society and Flag State requirements within the offshore, marine, or energy sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing company and industry performance standards, maintenance strategies, and asset integrity programmes.
  • Proven track record of budget management, cost control, and project financial reporting.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex maintenance or mod-ification projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across operational, technical, and contractor interfaces.
