A respected residential care provider is looking for committed and compassionate individuals to join their team in supporting young people in a therapeutic residential setting. Role Overview:

As a Children’s Residential Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering tailored care and support to young people, helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement individual Behaviour Support and Placement Plans

Support educational engagement at home and in school

Provide responsive care aligned with the organisation’s therapeutic model

Maintain accurate records and liaise with families and professionals

Engage in team meetings, training, and service development

Assist with household routines and create a nurturing environment

Ensure safeguarding and confidentiality standards are upheld

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field eligible for CORU registration

Acceptable alternative qualifications include Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, Nursing, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Early Years Care, and others

Full, clean manual driving licence valid in Ireland

Knowledge of Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres

Experience supporting teenagers with challenging behaviour

Legal right to work and reside in Ireland

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €37,440.00-€41,184.00 per year
