Juice Recruitment is thrilled to be supporting an award-winning lettings agency in Bath with their search for a Senior Property Manager to join their successful team.

You will play a key role in the smooth running of the property management and lettings business. You will be a senior point of contact for landlords, tenants and applicants, dealing confidently with queries, resolving issues and ensuring our properties and service are maintained to a high standard.

You will also bring your wider lettings knowledge to the role, including valuations, new business and the full lettings process.

DAY TO DAY

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring maintenance, repairs and tenant queries are dealt with efficiently.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for landlords, tenants and management-related queries, taking ownership and finding effective solutions.
  • Deal confidently and professionally with complaints, taking ownership of issues and following them through to a positive outcome.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory requirements are followed and that you are up to date with housing legislation.
  • Support the training and development of staff.
  • Book and conduct rental property valuations.
  • Monitor tenant referencing, including references for new tenancies and tenant replacements.
  • Carry out property viewings when required and oversee the associated tenancy paperwork and processes.
  • Ensure fees are charged correctly and in accordance with the company's Terms of Business.

WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE

  • Solid experience in residential property management and lettings.
  • A strong understanding of the property management process from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Confidence in handling complaints, difficult conversations and challenging situations.
  • Experience conducting valuations and converting new business.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Commercially aware and comfortable working towards targets.
  • Takes responsibility and ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
  • ARLA qualifications and a strong knowledge of relevant housing legislation are highly desirable.
  • Transferable experience from a similar role would be considered for someone who is a real go-getter, passionate about property and demonstrates the right skills and approach to thrive in the team.
