Accountabilities: The Senior Consultant will lead data governance and strategy initiatives, helping organizations establish sustainable governance frameworks, improve data maturity, and maximize the value of enterprise data. This role requires a combination of consulting expertise, technical knowledge, and strong stakeholder management skills to deliver successful transformation programs.

Lead data governance assessments, maturity evaluations, and strategic improvement initiatives.

Define enterprise data governance frameworks, operating models, policies, standards, and processes.

Develop data governance roadmaps aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities.

Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define governance needs and objectives.

Design and implement data stewardship, ownership, and accountability frameworks.

Drive adoption of governance practices across business functions and data communities.

Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and enhancement of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.

Configure and manage Collibra capabilities, including Data Catalog, Data Governance Center, Data Marketplace, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, and Reference Data Management.

Develop and maintain governance workflows using Collibra Workflow Designer.

Configure metadata ingestion processes and integrations with enterprise data platforms.

Establish data quality management practices, metrics, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks.

Define critical data elements, metadata standards, lineage requirements, and governance controls.

Partner with data engineering, analytics, architecture, security, privacy, and compliance teams.

Advise clients on governance best practices, emerging trends, and maturity improvements.

Support governance councils, working groups, and executive discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced data governance consultant with strong Collibra expertise and a proven ability to lead enterprise data transformation programs. You should have strong consulting skills, technical understanding, and the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Strategy, or related disciplines.

4+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Collibra solutions.

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, stewardship, privacy, and compliance.

Experience leading enterprise-scale data transformation and governance initiatives.

Strong consulting, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business priorities into governance strategies, operating models, and actionable implementation plans.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data architects, engineers, analysts, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.

Experience with other data governance or master data management tools such as Alation, DataHub, or Informatica is a plus.

Experience creating end-to-end data strategies and data flows is preferred.

Strong executive communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.

Experience leading governance councils, steering committees, or organizational change initiatives is beneficial.
