We're hiring one person to own both the creative design and technical pattern-making for Granada's first collections — someone equally comfortable sketching a silhouette and grading it into a clean, gradeable pattern across an extended size range. This is a hybrid role by design: we'd rather have one person who deeply understands both sides than hand off between two people who don't talk to each other.

Creative design Translate mood boards, references, and brand direction into original silhouettes for modest, coverage-friendly pieces (dresses, trousers, overshirts, layering pieces)

Develop print/graphic concepts for our lighter collection ("Salad Days") and heritage pieces for our premium collection ("The Companions")

Recommend fabrics, trims, and finishes appropriate for modest silhouettes and Egyptian cotton sourcing

Technical / pattern making Build first patterns and grade them across a true extended size range (XS through 4X+), designed from the block up rather than uniformly scaled from a single sample size

Produce tech packs: flat sketches, measurements, construction notes, fabric and trim specs

Fit-test samples across multiple sizes (not just a sample size and a 2X) and revise patterns based on fit feedback

Liaise with sewing/production partners to ensure patterns translate correctly to finished garments
