Your tasks
As a Purchaser, you support sourcing and purchasing for Eat-In Foods Inc?s frozen food products. Your impact: Reliable purchasing helps production teams access the supplies they need to keep frozen meals and sandwiches moving through production. Responsibilities
- Source products and supplies to support purchasing needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain productive supplier relationships.
- Negotiate purchasing terms and review pricing.
- Support procurement activities across the supply chain.
- Use purchasing and planning systems to support material requirements.
- Qualifications
- Relevant purchasing or procurement skills.
- Experience with sourcing, vendor management and negotiation.
- Understanding of supply chain processes.
- Preferred: familiarity with MRP and ERP systems, including SAP.
- Preferred: knowledge of pricing and manufacturing.
