Chief Accountant
Requirements
- Accounting
Full-cycle accounting for the Lithuanian entity Processing up to 80-100 suppliers invoices per month Working directly in 1C accounting system Month-end closing procedures Balance sheet and account reconciliations FX revaluation and adjustments Accruals and adjustments by counterparty
- Payroll & HR Accounting
Payroll calculation and accounting for: 10–15 employees (B2C) 15–20 contractors (B2B) Social contributions and related statutory reporting Payroll journal entries and reconciliations
- Tax Compliance
VAT accounting and reporting Corporate Income Tax (CIT) accounting and reporting Support with automation and setup in 1C for VAT and CIT Communication with Lithuanian tax authorities, if required
- Management & Statutory Reporting
Quarterly preparation of: Balance Sheet Profit & Loss Statement Support with year-end closing Preparation of audit-ready files, schedules, and explanations
- Audit Support
Full support during annual statutory audits Direct communication with external auditors Resolution of audit questions and findings
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with 1C Ability to work independently, without constant supervision Senior-level expertise (chief accountant / controller mindset) Proven experience with Lithuanian accounting and tax regulations Ability to work on B2B contract part-time
Nice to have:
Experience with regulated industries, fintech, or crypto is preferable Clear ownership of deadlines, quality, and compliance Proactive approach and reliability as a single point of responsibility
