About the Role

This is a hands-on, Monday to Friday role within our electro-mechanical production team based in Wallingford.

As an Assembly & Build Technician, you'll help build our robots from the ground up, assembling mechanical and electrical components into finished robotic systems. You'll follow detailed build instructions, carry out quality checks, and work closely with the wider production team to ensure every robot meets our high standards.

This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience who wants to continue developing their career in assembly and production within an exciting robotics company.

You'll be based at our workshop in Verda Park 5 days per week. A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.

What You'll Be Doing

Building and assembling mechanical and electrical components used in our robots

Assembling complete robotic systems following detailed work instructions

Carrying out quality inspections throughout the build process

Testing assemblies and identifying any issues before final build

Supporting fault finding and rework where required

Working collaboratively with the wider production team to achieve build targets

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

What We're Looking For

Essential

A minimum 1 year of experience in an assembly, manufacturing or production environment

Experience using hand and power tools

Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately

Strong work ethic with a positive, reliable attitude

A collaborative team player who enjoys practical, hands-on work

Desirable

NVQ, Diploma or Apprenticeship in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline

Experience in electro-mechanical assembly

Experience working within a quality-focused manufacturing environment

Full UK driving licence
