What You'll Do

The Research Associate will execute, analyze, and report results for biological assays for preclinical program.

Responsibilities

Laboratory operations related to enzyme activity and inhibition. Planning and execution of experiments to measure inhibitory activity of small molecule drug candidates against target proteolytic enzymes

Adhere to company standards, and compliance in current industry standards and practices

Adhere to safety regulations for handling and disposing of human plasma/serum and reagents

Proper maintenance of laboratory notebooks and forms in accordance with company policies and practices. Routine maintenance, and upkeep of laboratory

Who You Are

Education requirement

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology or Pharmacology

Relevant Experience

Enzyme assays

4-5 years in Pharmaceutical Diagnostic in R&D or GLP environment

Knowledge of GLP practice desired

Skills Immunoassay and biochemical assay

Laboratory experience with Western Blotting and SDS-PAGE is preferred. Basic knowledge of immunoassays and fluorescence biochemistry. Hands on experience in protease assays in plate format with colorimetric or fluorometric detection is desired. Ability to work with tissues for in vitro assays

Strongly self-motivated individual with attention to detail

Good time-management skills

Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and works well independently and within a team environment

Travel

Travel not required except physical laboratory presence during work week.

Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.

Salary $135,000 — $147,000 USD
