Qualifications & Functional Knowledge

• 5+ years of experience required with:
• Working with product development and/or project delivery of ERTMS solutions
• At least 5 years of experience working with Railway Signaling desirable, but not required
• Analytical and project management skill.
• Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a must.
• You are a team Player with entrepreneurial drive to go beyond specific tasks and

bring to the table new ideas to improve the overall bids.

• You also posses the ability to work in fast-paced environment often with minimal supervision,

sometimes under tight deadlines, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately.

• You have proven and strong organizational analytical and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities
• You have a proven insight and knowledge of the Busines
• you must understand the business models of the INTERFLO business. Must understand the bid process.
• You are comfortable in the Leadership role – both on the management and technical side.
• You have strong and proven leadership skills to take technical discussions and decisions.
• Stron verbal and writing skills are a mandatory.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

• Superior verbal/written communications skills for effective interfacing with Solution Manager,

Product Owners, Sales and Bid Managers and customers.

• Good communications skills are a must for this position to engage with different stakeholders. The INTERFLO Advance Engineer is responsible for support and control of INTERFLO bid and marketing activities performed by RCS Regions.

Focus is on ERTMS solutions and new markets and/or when new functions and products are introduced. A key part of the job is to facilitate knowledge transfer between involved parties.

Key responsibilities and challenges:

1 Support INTERFLO bids

• Together with Engineering in the RCS Regions analyze customer needs and requirements and based on that define and propose technical solution.
• Ensure bid compliance with Roadmaps
• Lead and coordinate technical bid work, including estimating efforts, between EAPD and Regions
• Discuss and define scope split with partners
• Presentations of bids for customers and other stakeholders

2 Analyze, benchmark and KPI follow up of bids

• Analyze and benchmarking of bids. Between bids and between bids and projects.

3 Standardization of bid related work e.g. bid process and WBS/PBS

• Bid process and WBS/PBS
• Increased re-use and quality of bid documentation
