Shape the future of Product Design at Autorola Group At Autorola Group, we're transforming how the global automotive industry buys, sells, values and manages vehicles through digital products and data-driven solutions. We're now looking for a Head of Product Design to build, lead and scale our Product Design capability across Marketplace, Solutions and Indicata. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Product Design leader who enjoys building organisations just as much as building products. You'll shape how Design contributes to product strategy, customer experience and business outcomes while establishing the foundations for a scalable, high-performing Product Design function. During the first 12–18 months, you will be responsible for our Product Design by being hands-on in strategic product initiatives. You'll work directly with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders and commercial stakeholders to solve meaningful customer problems, establish Product Design as a strategic discipline across the Group and build the capabilities needed to support our future growth. Over time, your focus will gradually evolve from hands-on product design towards scaling the function, developing people and strengthening design maturity across the organisation. If you're motivated by creating products customers love, building modern Product Design organisations and shaping how product teams work, we'd love to hear from you. About us The Autorola Group is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing, automotive IT solutions and business intelligence for the used vehicle market. Through Autorola Marketplace, Autorola Solutions and Indicata, we help manufacturers, leasing companies, fleet owners and dealers buy, sell and manage vehicles more efficiently using technology, data and digital solutions. Your role As Head of Product Design, you'll play a key leadership role within our Product organisation, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer. You'll work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Commercial and Operations to ensure Design becomes an equal strategic partner throughout product discovery, strategy, delivery and continuous improvement. You'll influence product direction through customer insight, research and design, helping Product Teams make better product decisions and creating experiences that deliver measurable customer and business value. You'll build the Product Design function by establishing Design Operations, career frameworks, design standards, scalable ways of working and a strong design culture that enables teams to succeed as the organisation grows. Success in this role isn't measured by the number of designs produced—but by stronger Product Teams, better customer experiences, improved product quality and lasting business impact. What you'll be doing You'll lead the development of Product Design while remaining close to the craft. Your responsibilities include: Leading, developing and scaling the Product Design function across Autorola Group.

Building Design Operations, career development frameworks, shared standards, governance and scalable ways of working.

Driving customer discovery, user research, usability testing, experimentation and accessibility across our digital products.

Coaching Product Designers as well as multidisciplinary Product Teams in continuous discovery and customer-centric product development.

Designing intuitive user experiences and evolving our Design System.

Partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, Commercial and Operations to influence product strategy and strengthen empowered Product Teams.

Establishing design principles, quality standards and best practices across the organisation.

Championing modern Product Design, continuous learning and evidence-based product decisions.

What we're looking for We're looking for someone who enjoys building organisations as much as building products. You likely have: Significant experience designing successful digital products.

Demonstrated experience building, transforming or significantly scaling a Product Design capability within a modern product organisation.

Experience leading and developing Product Design teams.

A strong background in UX, interaction design, customer research and product discovery.

Experience establishing or evolving Design Systems and Design Operations.

Experience coaching Product Designers as well as multidisciplinary Product Teams.

Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate customer insight into product direction and business value.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across Product, Engineering and Commercial functions.

Experience from SaaS, marketplaces or data-driven products is an advantage. What success looks like Within your first 12–18 months, you'll have: Established Product Design as a recognised strategic capability across Autorola Group.

Built the foundations of a scalable Product Design function, including Design Operations, shared standards and career development frameworks.

Strengthened and developed our Product Design team.

Embedded continuous discovery, experimentation and customer-centred design practices across Product Teams.

Delivered measurable improvements to product quality, accessibility and customer experience.

Built strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Commercial and Operations.

Helped shape our Product Operating Model, ensuring Design is an equal partner in product decisions across all three businesses.
